I was very lucky to visit the Ancient Hopi Village when I was in Arizona earlier this year.

The Elders have kept to tradition honouring the ways of Nature and living a way of Harmony and having a very small environmental impact. So Much Wisdom has flowed from the Hopi to the People of the World lets come together and Give Back.

The Hopi community, especially the younger ones, see and many have experienced the luxuries of the modern era. The Elder of the Village is keen to keep the tradition of the Village yet allow in some comfort (no rain in house!) and some warmth. So now is the time to support with Environmentally sensitive ways that maintain the super low environmental impact way of living.

People have quietly lived through the cold with ice covering the soil floors through out the winter with the so cold wind blowing super strong – the time has come to help those who have asked for nothing and give so much in their daily prayers and ways of living in Harmony.

Some funds have been raised and Volunteers are in the Village now starting repairs but more is needed.
$10,000 needed $4200 in so far – lets get the last $5800 while there are people in the Village to assist with the repairs. They are volunteering their time – so please help get the funds for the materials to them.

If your in the USA or have contacts in the USA can you get the following donated urgently:

Stove, refrigerator, heater that runs on propane gas, wooden table and chairs (not metal due to electric storms)
Get donated if possible.
Need door, screen, windows and screens, paint, plaster boards, 2×4 for inside wall framing and ceiling. floor cement, tile remnants.
Funds to Feed volunteers

If outside the USA – then funds can be donated to Learning Centre for Human Development and they will pass 100% of the $ to the project. I know this is true I know all directors and the projects they do. I’ve seen this personally.

Or do you know who can help – to donate tiles, stove etc? Please tell me who can help, contact numbers / names.

Its an amazing project that requires fast thinkers and action people.

An Elder of the Cherokee People is assisting and She has lived with and worked with this Elder – Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha is the key contact and over the long time with them she has understood what this Elder is OK with in terms of what happens to the traditional home (it must be kept traditional). Grandmother Parisha is sharing information on what is needed and how the work needs it to be done. A rare project with huge advantages.

I’ve met the Elder there and she is a beautiful soul – keeping the community together in health and happiness. A very strong Woman from Strong People.

To get the Urgent Project to Completion also show the Hopi Elder that the World Cares – that we appreciate their strength in staying Traditional and keeping to the prayers, songs and Harmonious Ways of living when there has been so many chances to let it all go and move into Caravans (RVs)

Time is now to support the traditional way and bring some comfort to one who has not asked for this but appreciates it – we are seeking knowledge and materials such wood, plaster (traditional style the locals know what its made off) people (to help build) and solar panels and Propane tanks.

Plus funds to feed the volunteers who are doing the work. If you cant be there please send some funding support.

I have no photos from my time in the Village as I felt it not appropriate. I have photos of my family from around there and will post them later – to give you a feeling for how Rugged and Beautiful it is.
