Over the last two days I’ve had a bit of driving to do. Sometimes I like no radio. The kids love the music so that is on when they are driving with me. I turned from the groovy music station to 702 ABC (Sydney) the more ‘grown up station’ it’s the commercial free one.
i’ve found myself listening to interivews with a half smile – sort of dejayu -at times – because those being interviewed were saying good things. That bits good the deja-yu part comes from the people saying things very like what I’ve put out there in blog post recently.
One example was an interview with a member from the Labour party who was talking out kids and vulnerable families out from detention centres and into homes – all by July this year with the set up of support groups, training etc. If your interested you can refer to the post – what was said was very like what is written there. Wonderful really.
Be What You Are For Oppose Nothing “Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha”
Being really passionate about something and standing up for what you are for is very powerful. Passion is a highly charged energy that can break through barriers and sweep apathy aside.
I don’t have the exact quote but Mother Teresa said something along the lines of she would nto attend an anti-war rally but would a Peace march.
Interviews with those from Iran at the moment have been most uplifting where the person has spoken of the people coming together – without weapons – to stand up for being free from oppression. That they do not want US or others to fight for them acknowledging that much of the current problem of dictatorships has been created/exacerbated by outside countries supporting regimes. Hearing the passion and the words of hope from others is magnificent and for them may harmony come.
As with the words in the mid-day prayer from Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha…..
….that man be the Earth keepers and Walk in Balance……
“The Earth is not Ending it is Transforming” Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha
All the Best to You and being Passionate in what You are For
