Morning Prayer Part 4 – Do You Want to be of Happieness and Free from Pain and Misery? Wisdom passed on from Cherokee Elder

This post is the 4th and last in a series of post on the Morning Prayer. The prayer was given to me from my Teacher and Elder Grnadmother Pa’Rish’Ha.

The other 3 post on the Morning Prayer are in my Blog so take a look.

The Morning Prayer concludes with:

“This is the Wisdom and the Ancients say to heed this Wisdom
so we can be of Happiness and
free from Pain and Misery.
Aho Creator I embrace this Wisdom and the Will to Be.”

Generally I’m pretty happy but when those times come when I feel low I recall the words and the
teaching from this Prayer. Then knowing what takes me from pain and misery back to happiness.

First I check what my words/thoughts so see if they are reflecting what I want to bring into my life.

“My words will be what I want to hear from all around me
and they will reflect what I seek from others
They will echo through the hills and arrive in the Heart of the Great Spirit.”

Then I check my Actions

“My Deeds will be a demonstration to the Creative Force
of what it is I am Bringing into my World,
and what I call forth will be in all my actions and thoughts.”

Then I fix what is out. Shift my focus to what I what to bring in.

Plus I remind myself, as the prayer does, that I am blessed and Love and surrounded by Potential.
Thus it is 100% my responsibility to be where I want to be.

From the position of taking responsibility for my thoughts and actions (and not at the thoughts and actions of others)
then I am in cause – rather than effect. I can change my thoughts and actions and thus the world around me.

Grandmother Pa’Rish”Ha has always taught me that Responsibility is everything that you can change only that which you take responsibility for.

Your Thoughts and Your Actions are the way to your Happiness.
