The Stinky – Did that get your attention
This fungus is pollinated by flies and other insects that feed on, adn lay eggs in, rotting flesh. So guess what it smells like?… yes rotting flesh

“Awww Yuk” said Kade. Maja took close up photos – she is very dedicated.
Surrounding this is the Ancient Low-land Forest (not logged since at least the 8th Century) that’s as long as the records go back so possibly even longer (Very Rare for Eurpope). You have to get a guid ot be able to visit and then only dawn to dusk. There are Bison, Wolves, Elk all free living (didnt see any yet).

It’s awsome standing in such Ancient Nature. A deep silence even when there is still the rustling of leaves.

Fungi were everywhere in this moist place – Maja was inspired to write a quick fairy story (I’ll post that later)
